Results of the endovascular treatment of long femoropopliteal lesions: A meta-analysis

      Open surgery remains the first line treatment for the longest femoropopliteal lesions. However, for about twenty years, the indications of the endovascular treatment of atheromatous femoropopliteal lesions have continually increased. Additional studies are thus necessary before retaining endovascular treatment as an alternative to the conventional surgical treatment and to define the type of implantable device indicated to treat long femoropopliteal lesions.
