      Infections involving a native artery, and even more so an endograft or a bypass, are associated with high mortality and amputation rates.

      Their management, from diagnosis to long-term follow-up, is very complex. Moreover, the heterogeneity of clinical presentations and practices complicates the implementation of studies of high scientific value, resulting in great disparities in healthcare decisions and guidelines.
